Reminder all Thunder Parents that we have our kick off breakfast on Saturday!
Now that we are approaching our first ever AZSC Welcome Breakfast, I wanted to take this opportunity to remind you all of this great day. We will be holding it on Saturday August 25th from 9:30am to 1pm at Freestone Park.
It is a great opportunity to hear from the directors at AZSC! The day will begin at 9:30 am, giving everybody a chance to buy some hot and cold breakfast, followed by our AZSC introduction at 10:15 am where we will talk about AZSC goals and targets for the up and coming year as well as a chance to see our brand new kit showcased by some of our very own players!
Crossfit Preferred will be there and OSR our Physical Therapy affiliate will be there to discuss their programs! Between 9:30am and 10:00am, we will be having plenty of games going on for the children to get involved with and win the chance to be recognized on our website, along with a live interactive demonstration for everyone to get involved in, and it will be conducted by our very own crossfit trainers who will be out there.
Throughout the morning and early afternoon, you will have the chance to purchase a variety of food and refreshments!
We will also be showcasing some of our oldest state league teams with two games, from the girls side it will be the 99 girls gold vs the 98 girls gold and from the boys side the 98 boys gold will be playing the 00 boys gold. The girls scrimmage will begin at 11:15 am and the game will consist of 2 20 minutes halves. Following the girls scrimmage, the boys will begin promptly at 12:15 pm and will also consist of 2 20 minute halves. Please stick around to watch as these teams showcase their skills and to give support and cheer on all our AZSC players.
This will be a great opportunity to get everybody together and share our first of many good times in the 2012/2013 AZSC season.
